Overview:
The RISE Program offers a series of introductory robotics workshops for students who want to develop their robotics skills. Current workshops will be using the VEX VRC platform.  VEX is a popular robotic platform used in middle and high schools. 

Three different workshops are being offered by ARC this summer. The workshops will teach students to build and program drivetrains, lifts, and intakes. Students will also learn to work with others to brainstorm solutions and solve problems as they work to make their groups robot. Concepts will be taught through live demonstrations and video. By the end of each workshop students will be more comfortable participating in the design process for robotics.

Course Outcome:
Students will be able to assemble a basic robot using the VEX Platform.
